報告題目：Statistical Inference for Big-data with its Applications（大數(shù)據統(tǒng)計學習理論與分布式計算及其應用）

報告摘要：
面對大數(shù)據應用的快速發(fā)展、國家經濟和金融安全所提出的迫切需求，大數(shù)據分析方法成為瓶頸與挑戰(zhàn)，需要發(fā)展大數(shù)據基礎分析的理論方法和技術。本報告將介紹一些可以用來處理大數(shù)據分析的常用統(tǒng)計方法、超大容量數(shù)據分布式計算及其統(tǒng)計推斷，并提出重要一些新的理論和方法。報告重點介紹并行計算下周勇教授團隊最新研究的一些重要處理大數(shù)據的技術與方法，包括：divide-conquer方法（分塊征服法）及多中心數(shù)據方法等幾種非超標準的處理大數(shù)據方法，并給出相關最新研究和作者最近的研究，以及相關方法應用到有關領域的一些有益嘗試。

Abstract:Currently, it is strongly needed to develop both fundamental theories and applied methods for analyzing big-data. Furthermore, efficient algorithms are also needed for applications in internet financial risk management, market behavior and decisions under high frequency trades, and so on. In this proposal, our research focuses on statistical inferences and computing algorithms based on dimension reduction of high-dimensional data. We develop new methods based on divide-conquer for data set with huge sample size. Statistical inferences and computing algorithms based on dimension reduction of high-dimensional financial data are proposed. These topics emphasize on models, methods and computation for financial big-data analysis.
報告人簡介：
周勇教授，國家杰出青年基金獲得者，教育部長江學者特聘教授，中國科學院百人計劃入選者，國務院政府特殊津貼專家，“新世紀百千萬人才工程”國家級人選，華東師范大學經管學部統(tǒng)計交叉科學研究院院長。
曾任第七屆國務院學位委員會統(tǒng)計學科評議組成員，現(xiàn)任教育部應用統(tǒng)計專業(yè)碩士教學指導委員會委員、中國統(tǒng)計學會副會長，中國統(tǒng)計教育學會副會長，中國優(yōu)選法統(tǒng)籌法與經濟數(shù)學研究會副理事長，中國管理科學學會常務理事。同時擔任國內外幾個重要學術期刊的編委和副主編，包括《應用數(shù)學學報》執(zhí)行編委，《數(shù)理統(tǒng)計與管理》《系統(tǒng)科學與數(shù)學》《應用概率統(tǒng)計》《中國管理科學》《工程理論與實踐》編委，和國際期刊《Sankhya B》編委和《Journal of the Korean Statistical Society》副主編（Associate Editor）。
周勇教授主要從事大數(shù)據分析與建模、金融計量、風險管理、計量經濟學、生存分析、統(tǒng)計理論和方法等科學研究工作，取得許多有重要學術價值和影響的研究成果。先后承擔并完成國家自然科學基金項目，國家杰出青年基金，自然科學基金委重點項目等科學項目10余項，曾獲得省部級獎勵二項。在包括國際頂級統(tǒng)計學和經濟計量學雜志《The Annals of Statistics》《Journal of The American Statistical Association》《Biometrika》《Journal of Econometrics》和《Journal of Business & Economic Statistics》等上發(fā)表學術論文近200篇。
